Andrew Burnett is a highly skilled and experienced attorney. His practice focuses primarily on issues facing small and medium sized businesses, real property, estate administration, and general civil litigation.  

Committed to the E&H philosophy of providing strategic representation, Andrew has the knowledge and experience to understand the client’s goals and provide the best advice targeted to get results. When litigation is required, he is a zealous and experienced advocate.

Before joining the firm, Andrew worked as a Special Assistant United States Attorney (SAUSA), served as an Associate General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), and spent nine years on active duty in the Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. Andrew has litigated a myriad of serious criminal cases involving sexual assault, violence against women, fraud, and human trafficking. In his civil practice, Andrew has litigated disputes related to trusts and estates, real property, commercial transactions, labor and employment, contracts, and various other matters.

Andrew graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law and was awarded a Juris Doctorate (J.D.). He has also earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Geographical Sciences from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from the University of South Carolina.

Andrew is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the California Bar Association. He also continues to serve his country as an officer and Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army Reserve.
